การลงทุนในทุกๆเรื่องนั้นมีความเสี่ยงอยู่เสมอๆ แต่เราก็ไม่ควรที่จะกลัวความเสี่ยงเรื่องนั้นจนเกินไป เราควรจะหาทางออกให้กับความเสี่ยงนั้นอย่างดีที่สุดถ้าหากว่ามันเกิดขึ้น และมีแผนสำรองรองรับความเสี่ยงอยู่เสมอ เช่น นาย A ลงทุนในหุ้น AA ที่ราคา 10 บาท ต่อ 1 หุ้น นาย A รู้ดีว่าหุ้น AA เป็นหุ้นที่มีพื้นฐานพอใช้ได้ แต่กำลังเจอกับวิกฤตทำให้ราคาหุ้นร่วง เหลือหุ้นละ 8 บาท นาย A ลังเลใจอยู่นานว่าจะถือต่อหรือขายดี สุดท้ายแล้วนาย A ตัดสินใจถือต่อเพราะคิดว่าหุ้นจะดีดตัวกลับ แต่สุดท้ายแล้วหุ้น AA ร่วงลงไปอีกที่ 5 บาทต่อ 1 หุ้น ถ้าเป็นคนปกติคงขายทิ้งหมดแล้ว แต่นาย A เชื่อมั่นอย่างมากว่าหุ้น AA มีพื้นฐานดีเพราะนั่งวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลมาหลายรอบแล้ว นาย A จึงตัดสินใจลงทุนเพิ่มในราคา 5 บาทต่อ 1 หุ้นอีก รวมแล้วนาย A ลงทุนในหุ้นตัวนี้ทั้งหมด 1,000,000 บาท จำนวน 200,000 หุ้น ผ่านมาอีก 2 ปี หุ้น AA ดีดตัวกลับไปที่ 8 บาท นาย A จึงเทขายหุ้นทั้งหมด ได้ราคา 1,600,000 บาท ถ้าเราพิจารณาดีๆแล้วจะเห็นว่าถ้านาย A ไม่ซื้อหุ้นตอน 5 บาท นาย A คงขาดทุนไปแล้ว ดังนั้นโดยส่วนตัวผมคิดว่า ถ้าเรารู้ว่าเรากำลังทำอะไรอยู่ความเสี่ยงก็ไม่มีหรอกครับ ขอให้มั่นใจจริงๆว่าตัวเองกำลังทำอะไร แล้วจะดีเองครับ
